Giggles & Geeks Restaurant was taken over officially on 29th May 2020 by a young entrepeneur name Abu Dzarrin and that’s the beginning of our story as a Giggles and Geeks restaurant without a bar that served western food such as lamb chop, lamb shank and etc.
Few month after taken over the restaurant, the restaurant only earning few hundreds to start with and the location was an office building located in Cyberjaya 8. And its during the Covid 19 attacking the whole world situation. But it doesn’t stop the spirit of opening a restaurant.
At that point of time, changes on the market was needed as we are no longer a bar but solely as a restaurant and we knew something need to be done especially to be recognized by Cyberjaya’s communities. We would like to be the number one restaurant in their mind when they think of Cyberjaya.
So, we begin our first step of marketing to be known by using social media platform such as Facebook and instagram. And guess what, it works! We were started to be well known few months after the shout out in social media.
However, we started to be tested on covid 19 cases getting worst and few times the restaurant need to be closed due to the numbers of cases increased and we are lucky enough to have few employees that willing to be with us through thick and thin for almost a year. Thank you so much everyone! Our customers and employees are the backbone of the restaurant for us.
In mid of 2021, finally our restaurant are stabilizing and we started growing in numbers of employees too. We are expecting to open few branches in mid of 2022. Stay tune everyone!
